Prenatal Care

We are trained to provide comprehensive prenatal care to enhance your health during pregnancy, minimize risks, and screen for potential problems. The midwife team reviews each chart carefully, and continually monitors your status through the pregnancy. We also take time during your office visits to address questions and concerns you may have, or explain normal changes.

Labor & Delivery

During labor, the midwife continually evaluates your progress, and is there for expert physical and emotional support. You can expect us to listen to your needs and involve your family as much as you wish. We recognize and honor that the birth of your baby is your special event, and endeavor to structure the processes involved with labor & delivery around you and your family. Mothers may choose their own position for giving birth, and fathers often cut the cord. Immediately after birth, we provide advice on breastfeeding and infant care, to facilitate a successful family transition. We don’t leave you until your baby is in your arms.
